Vaidya Harish Kumar Verma is one of India’s most outstanding Ayurvedic consultants. He is the president of Best Ayurveda Limited and also the founder & proprietor of Indian Herbal Remedies, Baddi (HP), an ayurvedic medicines manufacturing plant.

Born in 1963 in Khanna, a small town of Punjab, Vaidya Verma comes from a family of 4th generations of Ayurvedic Doctors. His father, late Vaidya Kirpa Ram, was considered favourite Ayurvedic doctor of poor and agricultural laborers of Punjab. Vaidya Kirpa Ram used to treat and cure patients with very economical Ayurvedic medicines and herbs. He was very famous for diagnosing the disease with Ayurvedic pulse examination and curing those diseases, which are considered to be incurable in modern medicine.

Harish Verma earned his Ayurveda Degree (B A M S) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He stood first in university and was awarded Gold Medal in BAMS. He is a very famous for his research in field of Ayurvedic treatment of Ulcerative Colitis, Hepatitis B & C, Urolithiasis, Rheumatoid Arthritis etc. He had been one of the top invitee’s for consultation on Ayurvedic therapy by many celebrities and dignitaries including late President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma and famous film maker Sh. B. R. Chopra, Vinod Khanna and many others. Vaidya Verma was a member of Governing Body of National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, headed by the Union Minister of Health (India). He was also a Member of faculty and board of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine, Punjab. He has lectured extensively in US, UK and Canada to the general public, doctors, universities and hospitals on Ayurveda. He is on the faculty of the Honors program in Ayurveda at Thames Valley University, London and is the author of A Comprehensive Book of Ayurvedic Medicine and Secrets of Ayurveda. Vaidya Verma’s method of treatment has been featured in many TV programs. A lot of newspapers and periodicals continue to carry review of his work.
